Nominated for a Grammy at age five for doing a duo with his renowned country music dad, Bobby Bare, Jr., also managed to sing on the Ryman Auditorium stage on its closing night.
He has performed with his band the Young Criminals Starvation League, an ever-changing group of musicians, including members of Lambchop, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, and My Morning Jacket.
Quirky, folky and downright funny, he’s country through and through. A man who has seen the Nashville of yore, and understands in through some very experienced eyes, the evolution that has yielded the Nashville of now. Of which, Bare Jr. is very much a part.
