Two years ago July, we set out to shoot this little film at this little festival in Rhode Island. Two years later, we’re beyond excited to screen the film this summer at the greatest folk fest on the planet, Newport Folk. newportFILM is presenting a work in progress screening in collaboration with the Newport Folk Festival this Friday, July 25th at 8:15 in the Casino Theater in Newport, RI. Tickets are limited and nearly sold out, so get yours quickly. It will be a special opportunity to actually affect the outcome of the film. Q&A post film will be a real dialogue, which will most certainly spill over to Newport Blues Cafe, where Deer Tick kicks off night 1 of their 3-night epic run.
